Our involvement in athletic facility design began in 1989 with our first sports project. Over the past 35 years our athletic practice has continued to grow, culminating in the establishment of our specialized Sports Studio, CDFL Sports, in 2015.

Since then, we have delivered full design services and master plans for new and renovated athletic facilities across the country, serving conferences including the Big Ten, Big 12, Conference USA, Gulf South, Missouri Valley, Mountain West, SEC, Sun Belt, and Southwest Athletic. Our work spans arenas, stadiums, and ballparks, venues that not only celebrate the vitality of sport but also capture the spirit of their settings. From seat widths to sidelines, from skyboxes to dugouts, every detail is an opportunity to enhance the athlete, coach, and fan experience.

Supported by our in-house expertise in architecture, planning, landscape architecture, engineering, interior design, cost estimating, and graphic design, CDFL Sports brings a full-service collaborative approach to each project. Our athletic designs have been honored with AIA awards and consistently earn praise from coaches, athletic directors, and media alike.
