The University of Mississippi Oxford-University Stadium
CDFL’s first Southeastern Conference baseball facility, the home of the Ole Miss Rebels, was opened in 1989. Selected as an NCAA tournament site in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2021, this complex has been used as a model for new baseball facilities through the country.
The Phase II expansion, completed prior to the 2009 season, increased the chair-back seating count from 2,951 to 6,055 seats, including 888 club-level seats, and pushed the overall capacity to 10,323. Included in the expansion were new restrooms, concessions, locker rooms, team room, club level, press box, bullpens, and expanded left field and right field seating areas.
Phase II also brought changes to the stadium’s campus face. Sheathed in colonial brick and limestone veneer, the new image pays homage to the University’s American Greek Revival architecture and unites the facility with nearby academic buildings.
