The University of Mississippi Vaught-Hemingway West Sky Box Renovation
The press box and west skyboxes at the University of Mississippi’s Vaught-Hemingway Stadium had not been updated or renovated since their 1988 completion. While the stadium itself has been continually developed, the original luxury suites remained untouched – down to the original carpeting. In an effort to modernize the space and provide additional amenities to fans, Ole Miss and CDFL created a vision for what they wanted this space to become.
The most notable update to the exterior is the new, large pane single hung window system that provides occupants with an unobstructed view of the field. The redesigned interior features several updates, providing both aesthetic and fan experience improvements. New fixed seating provides better support for spectators, the bar-style counters have been replaced with new stainless steel units, and new custom carpeting and the familiar red quartz counter tops bring Ole Miss branding into the space. Additionally, lounge and catering spaces have been added to the current lobbies along with new game operations and game broadcast capabilities.
