CDFL’s military experience has provided us with substantial knowledge of the procedures required to satisfy the strict regulations and high expectations of federal projects. We consistently exceed those expectations.

Our Design/Build Team has successfully completed multiple design/build projects throughout the Southeast and is accustomed to the Department of Defense design/build process. We have the resources and financial capacity to manage multiple projects as well as provide superior design expertise with our team of design partners. 

Our familiarity with multiple specification platforms has rendered us outstanding partners for any military project. Over the past 25 years we have completed over 100 buildings on 20 different installations, and have provided professional services for USACE, NAVFAC, USAF,USAFA, USCG, and the GSA.

CDFL is knowledgeable and practiced in ATFP criteria (UFC 4-010-01), which is incorporated into all of our recent DoD projects. Minimum setbacks, access controls, progressive collapse and building hardening have been included in all of our designs where required by the UFC documents.

CDFL is also committed to our design quality control program which helps to provide the customer with a project that exceeds the contract requirements and achieves above average quality at a minimal cost. Through our relationship with our consultants and partnership with all stakeholders, our designs meet rigid qualifications, and provide aesthetic facilities that have been carefully considered for quality, durability, ease of maintenance and energy-efficiency.
