Baylor University Baylor Ballpark

Designed as the linchpin of the Turner Riverfront Athletic Complex, Baylor Ballpark evokes an old-time ballpark feel while blending with the existing campus structures, particularly the array of distinctive masonry-clad bell towers that punctuate the Baylor skyline.

When CDFL conceived the highly-anticipated facility, we aimed to provide outstanding sightlines, a comfortable experience for fans, and an attractive incentive for the country’s best college coaches and baseball players. The stadium was met with overwhelming approval upon its completion in 2000.

The stadium features 3,242 chair-type, under-roof grandstand seats, including 650 field-level seats. Another 1,000 bleacher seats follow the left-field line. Team facilities include locker rooms for players, coaches and umpires complete with custom-built lockers and flat screen televisions; training room; equipment room with laundry facilities; coaches offices; conference room; and a two-level press box, with radio booths for both home and visiting teams, as well as a television booth.

Two full-length indoor batting cages are located underneath the first-base grandstand. A tunnel leads from the fully heated and cooled cages to both the team room and the visitor’s dugout.

Fan amenities located along a covered concourse include concessions, a novelty store for retail sales, a ticket office and public restrooms.
