St. Andrew’s Episcopal School Athletic and Recreation Center: The Arc

St. Andrew’s Episcopal School’s Athletic Recreation Center (ARC) is a new, state of the art activity center located on the school’s North Campus. Focused on students’ physical health and emotional wellness, the multi-purpose facility is utilized by St. Andrew’s middle school and upper school students.

The ARC is home to both a full-size competition basketball court and full-size multipurpose courts. These courts are able to be converted into four practice courts large enough to host both basketball and volleyball tournaments. They are separated by a Skyfold wall which opens to allow for maximum visibility of the extensive space.

The innovative new complex also includes dance and cheer classrooms, media and team room, multiple locker rooms, student recreation space, Alumni Hall of Fame, concession area, spirit shop, and coaches offices. Additionally, the ARC is large enough to host all-school events as well as community events.

Included in this project was a renovation of the existing gymnasium and an expansion to the weight room, training facilities, offices, and the athletic training spaces.
