CDFL Brings Home Three Regional Idea Awards
It was a big weekend for interior designer Katie Jo Collins as she accepted awards for three CDFL projects at the International Interior Design Association’s (IIDA) regional Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) gala. The Delta Region of the IIDA’s website states the awards’ purpose “is to celebrate outstanding examples of designed interior spaces. It is in recognizing the work of our peers that we have the opportunity to promote public awareness of design excellence, elevating the interior design profession.”
Projects honored include the Verner S. Holmes Learning Resource Center Administrative Offices at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (Healthcare, Large Design category); the Rowland Medical Library at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (Government/Institutional, Large Design category); and the Haley Barbour Center for Manufacturing Excellence at the University of Mississippi (Government/Institutional, Large Design category).
“It is so wonderful to be honored with these IDEA Awards!” said Collins. “The teams involved worked hard to ensure these spaces were both functional and beautiful. It is a joy to see them being used and enjoyed by our clients and the awards were just the icing on the cake. Thank you, IIDA!”
Congratulations to Katie Jo!
