CDFL Welcomes Five Summer Interns for 2026

CDFL Architects + Engineers is excited to welcome five summer interns to our Birmingham and Jackson offices this summer. Representing Auburn University, Mississippi State University, and Trinity University, these students will gain hands-on experience alongside our architects and engineers while learning more about the design profession and the built environment.

Joining our Birmingham office are:

• Adan Rodriguez, who will enter his fifth year of architecture school at Auburn University this fall.

• Brett Marshall, who will enter his third year of architecture school at Auburn University.

Joining our Jackson office are:

• Luke Fender, who will enter his junior year at Trinity University while pursuing a degree in engineering.

• Elizabeth Jue, who will enter her fifth year of architecture school at Mississippi State University.

• Haley Johnston, who will enter her fourth year of architecture school at Mississippi State University.

At CDFL, internships provide students with opportunities to gain real-world experience, work alongside design professionals, and explore the many paths within architecture and engineering. At the same time, these students bring fresh ideas, curiosity, and new perspectives to our teams.

We are excited to have Adan, Brett, Luke, Elizabeth, and Haley with us this summer and look forward to supporting them as they continue their educational and professional journeys.
