Insight Park Master Plan
In collaboration with Sasaki, Inc. and George Henry George, CDFL developed the Master Plan for the University of Mississippi Research Park for Innovation Excellence. The plan established a sustainable framework for the park’s initial development and set a long-term vision for the continued growth of research and innovation on the Oxford campus.
Spanning 150 acres, the plan integrates economic, programmatic, and spatial strategies to support collaboration between academia and industry. It emphasizes sustainability, flexibility, and connectivity - creating a foundation for a vibrant research community that advances discovery and entrepreneurship.
Following the master planning effort, CDFL designed several key projects within the park, including The Medicinal Plant Gardens, the Incubator Building, and the Scale-Up Laboratory. The plan also guided the creation of a state-of-the-art Innovation Hub and the relocation of the Maynard W. Quimby facility to a new site featuring a sustainable 20,000-gallon water retention system.
