Southern Beverage Distribution Center

Southern Beverage Company is a wholesaler of Anheuser-Busch In Bev, craft beers, non-alcoholic drinks (like Snapple, Bai, and Calypso), sodas, energy drinks, seltzers, and water. Southern Beverage Ridgeland facility is a distribution center that serves central MS. Due to growth over the years, Southern Beverage’s current location at Richland, MS had become unable to take on any more expansion. Southern Beverage wanted to consolidate their main office location in Richland and their Vicksburg location to a central location in Ridgeland, MS for expansion and ease of access for delivery routes.

CDFL worked with Southern Beverage to design a building that not only meets their current needs but will accommodate future growth. The design of a warehouse space that was over three times as large as their current facility with enough room on their 80-acre site to accommodate future building additions as well. Working closely with Southern Beverage, including touring other sister facilities to better understand the workflow and company practices to have well integrated design.

After working with Southern Beverage, a modern industrial office space was designed with a hospitality room that could be used to not only train within the company but allow Southern Beverage to host a variety of events. With 32 dock doors, over 150,000sf of open warehouse space, a 5,600sf refrigerator, and the potential to renovate some of the current warehouse into a future freezer, Southern Beverage is set up to grow with no limitation anywhere in the near future.
