Sillers Coliseum Master Plan & Facility Renovation & Addition
CDFL was selected by Delta State University to design the renovation and addition of Sillers Coliseum, originally constructed in 1961. The facility has long served as home to the university’s basketball programs and as a hub for campus and community events.
The multi-phase project revitalizes the historic venue with upgraded team facilities beneath the existing seating bowl, enhanced fan amenities, and new premium seating. A new wing expands the complex to include facilities for the women’s volleyball program, a practice court, offices, classrooms, film rooms, and a comprehensive training and weight area.
Phase 1 focused on critical infrastructure upgrades, including a new PVC roof system with code-compliant insulation, electrical service replacement, and new HVAC systems with boilers, air handlers, and water heaters - laying the foundation for the future transformation of Sillers Coliseum.
