What We’re Reading on the Web

As usual, we’ve read the Internet cover-to-cover and rounded up some of the most interesting reads out there for your perusal. Enjoy!

Baby, it is COLD outside. Really cold. Like so cold that the entire United States is complaining about how cold it is. And since it feels truly miserable to be outside, thanks to our pals at Architectural Digest, you can enjoy the beauty of the season without worrying about frostbite. Check out famous architecture in the snow.

This is way too high tech for this editor to say anything other than, “take a look at this really cool 3D printing pen that I do not understand and am intrigued by!”

Speaking of things that are cool, high tech and beyond my understanding – how about some smart lightbulbs? These bulbs debuted at the annual Consumers Electronic Show are seriously amazing.

This piece from Time looks at an exhibition entitled Constructing Worlds, which addresses the relationship between architecture and photography.

Finally, the theme for the 2015 London Festival of Architecture has been released. This year’s festival will focus on “work in progress.” More here.

Stay warm, y’all.
