What We’re Reading on the Web

As usual, we’ve read the Internet cover-to-cover and rounded up some of the most interesting reads out there for your perusal. Enjoy!

From FastCoExist: This urban neighborhood in Washington state is beautiful, forward-thinking, and sustainable. Definitely worth a look and a read.

Also from FastCoExist this week, a brilliant idea to eliminate food deserts created by students at the Center for Design Practice.

This isn’t the first time we’ve shared a link about Legos, and it almost certainly won’t be the last. This week the company announced the newest addition to their architecture series’: the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower Lego replica will be available for purchase on January 1, 2014 – narrowly missing the deadline to be included in our design professional gift guide!

Tis the season: check out this clever graphic on the architectural history of the Christmas tree and this beautiful snow art (yes, apparently that’s a thing) by artist Simon Beck.
