As usual, we’ve read the Internet cover-to-cover and rounded up some of the most interesting reads out there for your perusal. Enjoy!

As LED light bulbs flood the market, and the soft glow of an incandescent bulb becomes a scarce commodity, it’s nice to know that manufacturers are doing what they can replicate that warm light. In fact, one manufacturer has even begun to produce LED bulbs that mimic vintage Edison bulbs.

Also from Architectural Digest, a stunning look at the world’s architectural wonders from above.

Here’s a fun feature from the Wall Street Journal on designer Jonathan Adler. Favorite excerpt? “The strangest thing I’ve designed is: probably a giant Lucite nose. I am in this incredibly lucky position where I have the ability to make whatever pops into my little head. A giant Lucite nose is not what everybody needs, but it’s…memorable.”

From Dezeen: Architecture studio Penda has created a rope-bound bamboo pavilion as a mock up of a modular housing system developed to provide sustainable housing schemes for populations of up to 200,000.
