New Principal Named

2021 is set to be an exciting year for CDFL, as we celebrate 60 years in business. We’re starting the year off by welcoming a new principal at CDFL. We’re pleased to announce that Katie Browning, AIA, has been promoted from Associate to Principal. Katie has worked at CDFL for 13 years and has been an invaluable member of our team.

“We are excited to have Katie in a principal role at CDFL,” said firm President Gene Crager. “She has continued to develop her leadership skills within our firm over the last 13 years and I look forward to seeing her continue her career at CDFL.”

“I am excited about assuming my new role at CDFL and look forward to playing an integral part in the success of the firm,” said Katie. “I enjoy working with clients to understand their needs and help their individual visions come to fruition. It has been an honor and privilege to serve our clients and community, and I look forward to the many opportunities to come.”

Katie’s vast experience includes the design of office and classroom spaces, healthcare, laboratory research and sports facilities, museum and civic facilities, and master planning. She has led the design for many projects including The Athletic and Recreation Center at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, The University of Mississippi’s Medicinal Plant Garden, and Phase II of the Thad Cochran National Center for Natural Products.

Congratulations again on a very well-deserved promotion!
