Meet the Team: Chelsea Sisson

CDFL Architects + Engineers, P.A. is growing, and we are excited to announce that Chelsea Sisson has joined our team!

What do you do at CDFL?
I am the newest addition to the interior design team.

What exciting thing are you working on right now?
I immediately got to work at building furniture packages for a few different projects!

What have you learned so far working at CDFL?
I’ve already learned so much about the world of contract grade furniture and the importance of durability in spaces. Coming from a hospitality firm, it’s a whole new and exciting world for me!

What’s your favorite TV show?
I am obsessed with The Vampire Diaries and probably rewatch it three times a year.

What do you spend the most time doing outside of work?
I own a photography business, so you will mostly catch me doing weddings on the weekends. In addition to that, I love playing with my toddler, camping with my husband, and reading lots of books. I read an average of 15 books per month!

What’s the last movie you saw?
The Ballad of Snakes and Songbirds. Loved it!

What's your favorite lunch spot in the neighborhood?
Zundo, for sure. Spicy Miso, hold the bamboo shoots.

If you hadn’t gone to interior design school, what would you have wanted to do?
I was actually a biochemistry major for the first two years of my college journey. I probably would’ve stuck with that and attempted medical school. I was on track to attend pharmacy school.

What's your favorite vacation spot?
My favorite place in the world is Bryson City, NC where we go whitewater rafting!
