Katie Bowen Joins CDFL

1. What drew you to this profession?

I took an aptitude test my sophomore year of high school which indicated that pursing architecture would allow me to leverage many of my God-given strengths.

2. What’s your happy place outside of work?

Anyplace I can go on a long walk, preferably near water. We also love spending time with friends and family at the Reservoir.

3. If you weren’t in this role/industry, what’s your alternate dream job?

Hmm, probably a Farmer.

4. What’s one piece of advice you’d give your younger self?

I would tell my younger self not to waste so much time worrying.

5. What’s the most interesting place you’ve traveled to?

Zambia, Africa.

6. Where should we go for lunch if you get to pick?

Keifers.

7. If you have a week off starting tomorrow, where are you going?

To visit my hometown in Texas where my parents have land and animals.

8. What’s a TV show you could rewatch forever?

White Collar.

9. What's something people are surprised to learn about you?

I raised and showed hogs for the FFA in high school.

10. What are you looking forward to most in your new role?

Channeling my creativity, learning new things, and developing my skillset further.
