Interior Design Round-Up

In today’s post, Interior Designer Katie Jo Chane tells us about her current favorite interior design trends! Take it away, Katie Jo!

There’s always a lot happening in the interior’s world and things change all the time. When I’m designing a space, I like to layer trends with classic elements and show clients how to incorporate trends without going overboard. Some of my favorite things right now are natural finishes and vinyl wood floors. I’m seeing a move from darker tones to lighter tones in a lot of finishes from millwork to flooring. I think there’s still a place for darker finishes but I’m loving the use of the lighter tones we’re seeing. It’s fun working with our clients and incorporating new ideas into their spaces.
