There is always something new to share on the blog – be it a project update or an opportunity to meet another member of the team, but this week we are pleased to report on exciting professional news for several members of our staff.

Ron Fender, Parker Reece, and David Burnet were all recently promoted to the position of Senior Associate while Intern Architects Katie Lightsey and Colby Dearman completed the exam requirements to become licensed architects, earning the right to put AIA after their name. Additionally, CDFL’s Katie Jo Collins and Lori Willis were among the 41 members of Mississippi’s first class of certified interior designers.

“It’s an exciting time at CDFL. We are proud of our entire team, and it is impressive and inspiring to witness the professional strides these individuals are making. We remain appreciative for the continued leadership of Ron, Parker, and David and look forward to watching them grow in their respective new roles. We also want to congratulate Katie and Colby as newly licensed Architects along with Katie Jo and Lori’s new designation as Certified Interior Designers,” said Principal Gene Crager.

“I am grateful for the opportunity and am looking forward to doing my part to help keep our clients happy and CDFL successful,” said new Senior Associate Parker Reece.

“Being a Senior Associate gives me the opportunity to take on new responsibilities and to continue learning about our business. I’m excited about CDFL’s future and the role I will play in it,” added Ron Fender.

Congratulations to Ron, Parker, David, Katie, Colby, Katie Jo, and Lori on taking these important steps in their careers.
