Highland Village

CDFL is proud to have been involved in the revitalization of one of the stalwarts of Jackson commerce, Highland Village.

The multi-faceted effort has included mechanical, electrical, architectural, landscape, and interior design services. In order to improve the flow of traffic for shoppers, the central stair was removed and vision into the shopping center’s retail center was enhanced. To further enhance the building’s exterior spaces, a new master plan has been developed for the center courtyard space with Phase I already underway. Additionally, a connection to parking on Highland Village’s west side was created.

Coordinating with the developer and tenant, a new space for retailer Red Square was created along with a new location for Turkoyz and new J-R Restaurant office spaces. CDFL also removed the second floor of that building to create a 2-story space for Lululemon. Building B saw several improvements, including refurbishment, and a stair on the east side of the building.

Updates to the main portion of the center courtyard included new paving, pavers, elevator, fountains, plantings, railings, exterior lighting and paint on the buildings surrounding the center courtyard.
