Hederman Brothers
Faced with evolving technologies and a desire to simplify workflow, Jackson area printer Hederman Brothers was in need of a new facility that would better fit their organization’s needs.
Priorities in the new headquarters would be reflective of changing tides in workplace design as well as much needed warehouse space for newer and faster printing machines. From smaller executive suites to providing more shared spaces, each design decision would help accomplish Hederman’s goal of prioritizing their team’s efficiency and streamlining communication.
Large, usable spaces are more widely available for employees to congregate and work together, cultivating a culture of collaboration among the numerous teams that work together on a given project. Production tables from the previous home of the printing company were brought over to populate these spaces. The new headquarters also includes more employee amenities, including a larger break room; and screens throughout the building have been installed to provide an additional communication tool.
Hederman’s leadership team came into the project with strong ideas regarding feel, flow, and design and was seeking an architect with the expertise and experience to execute those concepts in a timely manner. The turnaround for the project was swift, with an 8-month turnaround, and CDFL was able to provide rapid response and real-time solutions as the project progressed.
