Dream Center at North Highland

CDFL had the privilege of working with the Marlon and Marcus Foundation to provide design concepts for a multi-purpose community center in Prattville, Alabama. Founded by Prattville's own Major League Baseball player Marlon Anderson and longtime public servant Marcus Jackson, The Marlon & Marcus Foundation was established to bring resources and opportunities to the community that raised them. The project's goal is to create a world-class multi-purpose activity on the North Highland Memorial Community Center Complex site in one of Prattville's most underserved and most historic areas.

The CDFL team worked in tandem with the Foundation to envision what the community center could be. The team kept the community center in the planning process to ensure that the design met the foundation’s goals. The center includes Pre-K classrooms, space for arts and athletics, a community garden, and senior wellness programming.

CDFL provided renderings and video walk-throughs of the proposed community center for fundraising efforts. The facility will have 3 phases of construction to bring it to completion.
