Position Overview: As a Construction Administrator at CDFL Architects + Engineers, you will play a key role in our commitment to delivering high-quality, cutting-edge projects to our clients. You will work alongside our team of architecture and engineering professionals to ensure that our projects are built to the highest standards in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist architects and engineers in the management of projects during construction – regular project meetings and calls, observation reports, review of pay applications, regular inspections, and project closeouts.

• Regularly travel to jobsites across Mississippi and adjacent states.

• Assist the office manager in performing occasional office repairs and tasks.

• Advise the architecture and engineering staff on construction techniques and standards.

• Assist in maintaining the firm’s safety standards on jobsites.

• Assist the firm in maintaining the most current inspection technology.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field is preferred.

• Five years of experience in the construction industry.

• Familiarity with construction techniques and documentation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Ability to work on multiple projects efficiently and work well with deadlines.

Location: This position will be in Jackson, Mississippi.
